Nov 2025 Meeting Recap

 

 

Meeting started at 6:50 -approximately 25 attendees.

Frank and Stuart were unable to attend this month.  Geoff ran the meeting.

Members brought several items for the 50/50 draw, but the tickets and cash box were not in attendance so we pushed the prizes over to December or January.

Discussion:

Peter Fay volunteered to put together a “Modellers Jeopardy” game for a future meeting.

Kerry and Duncan volunteered to put together a presentation on their modellers European Road Trip.

Steve Zammitt suggested we consider a road trip for interested members to the Canadian Armour Museum in Oshawa sometime in 2026.

Mike Hill suggested we see if we can hold a future meeting at the Jet Aircraft Museum again.  Geoff said he would contact them to see.

Cam Murdoch mentioned that the Air Cadets are looking for volunteers to help the Cadets learn how to build model planes on Tuesday nights at the Byron Legion.  Volunteers need to do some paperwork and get a police report.

Consensus that we should do the “Xmas gift exchange/theft” again this year.

Mike Hill did a demonstration of how to use Uv cured resin in modelling.
