Panzer Tactics: German Small-Unit Armour Tactics in World War II
Author: Wolfgang Schneider
Stackpole Books, 2005

The author has provided a look into the tactics used by panzer formations
of World War II. Mr. Schneider has taken a look in to Offensive Operations, Defensive Operations, Unit Movements, Reconnaissance,
Command and Control, Logistics and Maintenance, Combined Arms Operations, Life in A Tank, Training and Tank Gunnery and Armor
Tactics – Today and Tomorrow. The book brings to life the grueling life
that each individual faces inside each of those panzers and the way they faced each and every situation in a different fashion.
The life of a tanker is that of a short one as each of those individuals new that they could have there rides shot out from
under them. The entire book is loaded with panzer pictures which gives details
to modelers and it is the kind of reference to which we all use when we build each model to get it as life like as possible.
Thank you Wolfgang Schneider for such a great book.
