When Academy announced that they were going to produce a model of the M728 Combat Engineer Vehicle (CEV) I was ecstatic ...
Then came the release of the M60A1 with dozer blade kit instead.
Disappointed! There was no way with at least
one M60A1 at home already that I was gonna spring for a whole new kit just to get a dozer blade. So I waited.
And
then the other day I saw it. The dozer blade was available all on its own. Not only did the fact that Academy had enough sense
to release the thing separately impress me, but the price was incredible. A mere $5.00 (and thems Canadian dollars at that).
At five bucks, I bought two.
The detail is great and construction looks to be quite easy since the darn thing has
a full instruction sheet too. Not bad for five bucks. This would be a great accessory to dress up a Desert Storm M60A1, with
or without reactive armour. Not sure if I'll ever build it, even so, it's the best five bucks I spent on my hobby in 1999.
